The business need behind McAfee’s VirusScan ASaP is simple:
Users are vulnerable to software viruses because they don’t take the time to
update their virus protection. When the LoveBug virus hit in 2000, one network
administrator found only 300 of 1,500 PCs had updated virus signatures. This
experience is, unfortunately, all too typical, since maintaining the latest
virus protection requires users to proactively visit antivirus sites and
download and apply the latest signatures.
