uRoam addresses the problem of accessing your files when
you’re on the road. Their version of peer-to-peer is one-to-one: one roaming
laptop, one desk-bound main computer. Rather than going through an often
lengthy synchronization process every time you want to hit the road, uRoam’s
software allows you to access files back at the office using only a browser on
your remote laptop. Or, leave the laptop at home, and access your files with
your cell phone or Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
